─ Electrical Panels
Residential Panel Upgrades and Electrical Panel Replacement
If your home is more than 25 years old, or if you keep tripping breakers, your electrical panel might be the problem. We assess your current panel, clearly explain your options, and handle the upgrade from start to finish. We pull the required permits and ensure everything is up to code.
Signs you might need a panel upgrade:
- Breakers that trip frequently or won’t reset
- A fuse box instead of a breaker panel
- Lights that dim when you run appliances
- No room to add circuits for new appliances or an EV charger
- Burning smell near your electrical panel
We are also proud to provide specialized electrical services for historic structures in the Greater Nashville area.
─ Whole Home Wiring
Whole-Home Wiring and Rewiring
Older homes often have wiring that wasn’t designed for how we use electricity today. If your home has aluminum wiring, knob-and-tube wiring, or wiring that simply isn’t meeting your needs, we can assess what’s there and plan the right path forward.
We also wire new additions, finished basements, and accessory dwelling units. If you’re adding square footage, we make sure the electrical keeps up.
─ Fixture and Switches Installation
Outlet, Switch, and Fixture Installation
Running out of outlets? Need a GFCI outlet near your sink or in the garage? Replacing old switches with smart switches or dimmers? These are quick jobs that make a real difference in how a home functions. We handle them cleanly and correctly.
We also install whole-home surge protectors to protect your electronics and appliances from power surges, which are more common than most homeowners realize.
─ Installation
Ceiling Fan and Lighting Installation
Ceiling fan installation seems simple until you discover the box isn’t rated for a fan, or there’s no existing wiring where you want one. We handle the whole thing. Tell us where you want it, and we’ll make it happen safely.
We also install recessed lighting, under-cabinet lighting, outdoor lighting, and security lights. If you want to add lighting to a room or swap out a dated fixture, that’s a straightforward call.
─ EV Chargers
EV Charger Installation
Electric vehicles are only as convenient as your charging setup at home. A Level 2 home charger dramatically cuts your overnight charging time compared to a standard outlet. We assess your panel capacity, install the dedicated 240-volt circuit, and mount the charger where it works best for your parking setup.
We install EV chargers for all major vehicle brands and all major charger manufacturers. If you’re not sure what you need, we’ll walk you through it.
─ Inspections
Home Safety Inspections
If you’re buying a home, renovating an older one, or just haven’t had your electrical looked at in years, a safety inspection is a smart investment. We go through your system, identify anything that’s out of code or could become a problem, and give you a clear, no-pressure report.
This is especially important for homes built before 1990, which may have wiring types or panel configurations that present fire or safety risks.
─ Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting and Repairs
Electrical gremlins can be tough to track down. We’ve seen everything: outlets that stopped working for no obvious reason, breakers that trip under specific loads, flickering lights tied to a loose connection three rooms away. We diagnose the problem correctly before we fix anything.

I have called upon Copper Creek Electric several times over the past few months. My first contact was for a tripping breaker on a newly installed hot water heater, which turned out to be an improperly connected wire to the water heater, they ran a new wired and installed a new breaker as the one in the box was over 20 yrs old and it was time for it to be replaced. They have replaced wires where squirrels had gotten into attic and chewed all the insulation off of them. No matter the issue, if it was urgent they have sent a crew in within a few hours of my call to resolve my problem. My most resent service was just to simply install new outside lights and a flood light camera. If you have any electrical problem, or simply need someone to run new wiring for you, they should be your first call. If I could give them 10 stars I would. They are very professional, polite, and always clean up before they leave.Posted on Google![]()

Amazing company made up of amazing people. Called them at 5:30pm on a Friday afternoon. Richie came out around 7:30pm. One of the nicest people and somebody who cares about doing quality work. The issue was a little challenging to diagnose but they came back out the next day (Saturday) to finish the job. The entire experience was very customer oriented and I would definitely use them again if needed.Posted on Google![]()
